• Minimum 5 years of experience in both manual and automated software and hardware testing, especially within IoT environments. Strong proficiency in functional testing, including backend and API testing, and in non-functional testing, such as performance and stress testing of software and hardware systems.
• Skilled in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to choose the most effective testing approach for different scenarios.
• Proficient in Python, with practical application in testing and quality assurance processes. Familiar with Playwright and comfortable with Linux command-line scripting.
• Ability to analyze logs and manage servers to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Knowledgeable in video development, streaming technologies, and testing video pipelines.
• Understanding of AWS services in supporting SaaS applications for IoT environments.
• Capable of creating, updating, and reviewing test plans and strategies.
• Able to lead testing efforts independently, including planning, timing estimation, and active participation in development lifecycle discussions.

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a leader in video analysis solutions, focusing on loss prevention and security across retail, banking, and restaurant industries. Their innovative cloud-based platform analyzes video streams to detect unusual movements and integrates camera footage with POS data, creating a dashboard that enables detailed monitoring and reporting of specific incidents.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing both new and existing hardware and software features, developing test plans, increasing test coverage, and identifying quality risks. The position requires a blend of 50/50 automation and manual testing, with a strong emphasis on non-functional aspects such as performance and stress testing. Candidates should have a solid understanding of software testing in hardware contexts.

Overlap till 6-7 PM CET required.

,[Conduct all testing activities within the Device Infrastructure team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance across all components., Define and lead the automation strategy, including identifying tests suitable for automation and integrating these into the CI/CD pipelines., Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
