**What are we looking for?**
Our company currently seeking to a fill a UX design position within our growing value team that covers key areas: Digital Foundry, Patient Engagement, Public Policy, Commercial Trade Channels, Market Access, and Revenue Management.
We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
A UX designer that also has the ability to design mood boards, style guides, and develop overall art direction is a major plus and will be prioritized. This will be a challenging opportunity to work with key strategic partners within our Human Health organization and work on high visibility initiatives.
**Primary activities include**:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.
- Translate user stories, personas, and design requirements into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and workflows.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and visual designs that adhere to brand guidelines and design principles, ensuring consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytics data to continuously improve the user experience.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions, providing design specifications and assets as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion the importance of UX/UI in achieving business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize design tasks and deliverables, and manage timelines and deadlines effectively.
- Communicate design concepts, rationale, and solutions effectively to stakeholders, and solicit feedback and input throughout the design process.
- Ability to develop Art Direction, mood boards, and User Interface design is a major plus.
- Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
