User Uptake Support

The activities below will include frequent access to classified security areas and systems. They may entail meetings in the other clients premises in Europe, EC premises in Brussels, ESA premises in Noordwijk - ESTEC (The Netherlands) or other European centres, Galileo Control Centres in Fucino (Italy) and Oberpfaffenhoffen (Germany) or other space programme sites across the world (for a few tasks).
- Support in the identification of user needs and requirements for new services and data;
- Support in the organisation of the user consultations, including eliciting user needs from relevant organizations and stakeholders in the respective market segments;
- Support to demonstration activities, pilot projects related to user uptake activities;
- Support to preparation of user readiness analysis and business impact assessment for EU Space differentiators;
- Support in the technical analysis of technologies and services that are competitive/alternative, complementary or an augmentation to EU Space;
- Support to user-related activities in the evolution of the EU Space Programme and development of new programmes;
- Contribution in the preparation of internal reporting activities related to user uptake;
- Support to enhancing interoperability features across Copernicus data and information platforms as well between Copernicus platforms and large initiatives like Destination Earth;
- Support to enhancing user interaction with Copernicus data and Service information platform through AI tools for querying knowledge base and performing data and information analysis;
- Overview of the AI technology possibly used in the space domain, in particular enhancing the uptake of space data.
- Master degree in Engineering or relevant field; Possibly Bachelor with solid experience as a fall back option;
- Between 2 and 10 years of relevant working experience in security engineering for classified environments / defence;
- Exposed to ISO27001 / 27002 certified environments and COMSEC information;
- One or more of the fields of expertise are required:
- Security Governance and risk management;
- Security Audit and implementation;
- Service and facility management;
- Handling of classified documentation (EU, NATO);
- Security accreditation;
- Business development.
- ISO27001 audit experience is an asset;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- Eligibility to work and live in the EU;
- Eligibility for EU Personal Security Clearance is mandatory.
