Transition Lead
Job Purpose:
Due to the continuous growth of the business, we are embarking on an exciting Business Change programme to create a new Finance Shared Service. This is truly exciting time for us, as the shared centre will add value to existing services whilst improving system scalability and global collaboration.
To achieve this goal, we are establishing brand new teams and departments. Be sure that comprehensive knowledge transfer will be an important part of the initial phase.
And setting up a new team is not the only objective ahead of us. We are planning to implement a new company-wide ERP system, Dynamics365, so your creativity, proactivity, knowledge, and skills will be fully utilized once again.

In joining RWS’s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. RWS has growing revenues of over £750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Candy Davies, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. Job Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**
- As Transition Lead, you will define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with relevant finance SSC stakeholders
- Accountability for successful delivery of transition projects from the business unit across finance SSC Hubs through the complete lifecycle of concept to business-as-usual service delivery
- You will ensure all transition projects in the region/hubs or assigned are delivered on time, meeting business & technical requirements within the agreed budget
- You will coordinate the transformation projects within the FSSC connected with the planned ERP change
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedule timelines
- Manage the overall transition project in cooperation with Trainers, Trainees and other involved parties such as Compliance or Controlling
**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant experience in SSC transitions (preferably in Finance) and transitions / project management
- Experience in managing multiple teams and capabilities to deliver complete complex project scope
- Proven track record managing multiple stakeholders effectively
- Experience of working in fast-paced, high-demand, delivery-oriented environments
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer impacts
