We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Brno, where you will participate in development and design of complex aircraft bleed air management systems for broad portfolio of aircrafts. Environmental Control Systems (ECS) integrate several subsystems and components, such as turbomachinery, electro-mechanical valves, heat exchangers and associated electronic controls.

Systems Engineering concentrates on the precise specification of system architecture and performance to satisfy customer requirements. The role of the Systems Engineer encompasses the complete product design and development life cycle including System concept development, design, build, qualification, certification, and in-service support.
Systems Engineering role is also needed at the subsystem and component level development and design to assure the functionality and performance of the system. We are looking for motivated colleagues that are ready to take up this challenge to start with component/subsystem level system engineering and gradually build up on experience to become valued professionals on ECS System level solutions.Systems Engineer
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Determining and deriving the technical requirements from the customer ensuring the compliance of the system and its products to the customer requirement documentation.
- Coordinating other development groups (Electrical, Hardware, Mechanical, Software, Test Services, Safety, etc.) to ensure the technical activities on project are in accordance with technical requirements. Also, you will liaise with Program Management, Design, Chief Engineers, Development Engineers, Manufacturing and Customers when necessary.
- Providing general technical direction on component level during development life cycle.
- Responsibility for subsystem/component level architectural decisions, defining, supervising and evaluation trade studies justifying decisions. Being Primary point of contact for external and internal customers, negotiation of technical specification and architecture at the component level

**Key skills and qualifications**
- Master’s degree in relevant technical field - Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
- 2 - 5 years industry experience, system engineering experience with focus on environmental controlproduct portfolio is beneficial
- Solid background in thermodynamics, gas dynamics and/or air management
- Basic understanding of requirements management (capturing and definition, subsequent detailing of requirements, definition and validation and verification of technical requirements), preferably from Aerospace industry
- Good command of English language (spoken and written) for regular communication with global team members, stakeholders and customers
