Sw System Engineer (Rolling Stock Control Systems)

Here, we breathe life into our vehicles by designing control functions in both SW and HW. We strive to ensure that the rolling stock we develop achieves a high level of safety and reliability. We are interested in every operational aspect so that the vehicles work perfectly as a whole. We are looking for solutions to achieve the lowest possible energy consumption by combining different approaches to energy management on board the train.
**Main responsibilities**:
- SW design of various control systems in our vehicles
- System analysis and design that covers the entire system development lifecycle
- You will also have an important say in module testing
- Developing of dynamic systems and their architecture, programming the functions of vehicle subsystems and their subsequent integration and testing
- Close cooperation with other colleagues in electrical integration and many other areas
**Key qualifications**:
- University degree in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of structured software development (SCL)
- Experience in control system design
- English or German for everyday communication with our global teams
- Czech for daily communication
- Experience with V-model software development is an advantage
