Responsible for data collection and regional reporting processes related to MRP and Returnable Containers. This includes managing interfaces with countries, regional procurement, and finance. Additionally, involvement in cross-functional projects, implementation of new processes, and continuous improvement of MRP and Returnable Containers processes.
**In this position you will be responsible for**:
Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting
- Assume full ownership and leads the development and execution of the data consolidation process, including master data management across regional databases (SKU, MRP plans, pricing, budgets, capital expenditure plans, etc.). This involves not only building but continuously enhancing and refining the processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance in a dynamic business environment.
- Act as the primary architect and coordinator for the data collection process, designing and enhancing methodologies for collecting, validating, and reporting data from country teams to the regional team. This role is pivotal in facilitating rolling monthly planning, budgeting, strategic planning, and supplier contracting processes by ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
- Play a critical role in integrating data inputs across functions, working closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure seamless cross-functional reporting. This responsibility includes the development of sophisticated reporting frameworks that support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Provide expert support and leadership to country teams, ensuring that their submissions meet stringent quality standards. This involves conducting targeted training sessions and workshops to elevate the knowledge and capabilities of team members regarding reporting requirements, thus fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of reported data, employing advanced analytical techniques to unearth insights that highlight inefficiencies, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and contribute to overall supply chain effectiveness. This process requires a high degree of analytical acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Proactively initiate and leads discussions with both country and regional teams to scrutinize reported data, directly addressing and rectifying any issues related to data quality. This includes setting the agenda for data quality improvement and leading the charge in implementing solutions.
- Organize and facilitates regular strategy sessions (monthly) with countries and regional teams to compare current performance against budgets, contracts, and other benchmarks. This role is responsible for synthesizing information, identifying discrepancies, and spotlighting opportunities for improvement, thereby driving strategic adjustments and alignment.
- Design and execute complex, high-level planning scenarios in response to ad-hoc requests and business case analyses. This requires a sophisticated understanding of business operations, strategic foresight, and the ability to anticipate and plan for various future states.
MRP and Containers Management Process development and projects’ support
- Assume primary responsibility and leadership in advancing the MRP and Containers Management processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness to meet evolving business needs.
- Act as a pivotal figure in identifying and rectifying process and system deficiencies, working collaboratively across functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This involves leading the Community of Practices and Task Forces/projects, offering insightful solutions to address improvement opportunities within MRP and reporting domains.
- Contribute significantly to the evolution of reporting processes and formats, leveraging expertise in designing and implementing reporting frameworks using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL. Collaborates closely on cross-functional reporting initiatives to ensure alignment and coherence across the organization.
- Support the overarching automation and digitalization strategy within the Regional Supply Chain Planning realm, actively engaging in projects aimed at augmenting capabilities within regional planning and reporting tools. This entails contributing to the development of additional functionalities and features to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting and planning processes.
**Qualification Criteria**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Access, SQL, Power BI, SAP MRP
- Strong track record in designing and implementing automated and digital tools/solutions for Supply Chain optimization.
