We have an opportunity for a Sr Software Engineering Supervisor to join us at Honeywell, in Brno, where you will be managing the tactical direction of group of professionals, who provide and develop expertise, to facilitate the success of multi-faceted and interdisciplinary projects and programs. Provides tactical direction for work groups within a function by aligning strategic objectives with tactical activities. Provides guidance and direction for team members development.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sets individual and work groups goals and objectives in conjunction with strategies, provides support to individual contributors to manage their workload and projects/programs involvement.
- Interfaces with peers and team to develop alternate solutions to project/program issues and challenges. May present project status to higher levels of management.
- Identifies areas for improvement in work group processes and drive resolutions to improve methodologies and techniques. Works with peers to establish best practices to be enacted across the COE.
- Monitors progress and adapts tactics to resolve unexpected project complications.
- Lead Advanced Technology Europe’s Mechanical Technologies & Applications teams, a highly skilled group of ~15 scientists and engineers developing cross discipline technologies for future Honeywell products.
- Execute a portfolio of technology development projects using Honeywell and external networks with the objective to mature technologies to TRL6 and to transition technology to product development programs.
- Participate on development of a technology STRAP and roadmaps for area of responsibility in coordination with Advanced Technology, Engineering and Business.
- Ensure career development and performance management of direct reports
- Work with the Advanced Technology Sales organization to pursue and win external contracts that support our strategy.
**Key skills and qualifications**
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Science, Technology or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7 - 9 years of experience in related field.
- Excellent command of the English language
- Strong technical skills and analytical ability
- Communicates effectively to a broad range of technical and nontechnical audiences including external
- Excellent leadership skills in driving change, motivating, coaching, and developing people
- Ability to work in ambiguous, highly matrixed environment
- Ability to work multi-tasks, tenacious and possess excellent problem-solving skills
