To strengthen our agile Life Science Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry team, we are looking for a motivated Software Test Automation Engineer. If you enjoy working with a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and worldwide team, this is your job.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Create and execute automation tests on various software platforms in support of Thermo Fisher Scientifics new product development.
- Collaborate with development and validation teams to plan, perform, and document verification and validation activities.
- Maintain and update test cases, test procedures and bug reports in databases, including filing and tracking.
- Participate in all stages of software development, from product definition to final release.
**Education/ Experience**:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, related science, or equivalent education and work experience
- 1+ years of experience with SW test automation
- Knowledge of testing tools like Test Complete, Selenium or similar products is an advantage
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Detail oriented and self-motivated individual able to work in multi-national multi-disciplinary team in supporting the development of high-performance mass spectrometric instrumentation and related technologies
- Programming skills in a major programming language or scripting language would be preferred
- Proficient in English
- Ability to travel up to 20% globally
