**Your team**
By joining our Czech team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performance and enthusiastic software development team in a friendly and dynamic work environment.
You will have the opportunity to get in contact with different NXP teams (solution teams, hardware designers, documentation writers, etc.), give feedback, propose solutions.
As **Software Engineer **in the **Data Generators team **(10 people), you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal database of NXP devices and development of tools that transform this database into documentation and various output formats.
**Your responsibility**
- Design & development of new GUI and command line tools in Python
- Development and maintenance of existing tools
- Communication with our users and providing technical support
**Your profile**
To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:
- Object-oriented programming in Python
- Basics of C++ programming & open to learn more
- Knowledge in area of software development processes and methods
- Understanding of Git (or similar) version control system
- Communicative English (spoken and written)
Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:
- GUI programming
- Knowledge of XML/XSD
