Who You Are

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Be proficient in Java (preffered) or other modern software development language
• Have proficient knowledge of software design and testing principles
• Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner
• Adapt to the technical and stylistic needs of integrations and projects as they occur; including technical tools, programming languages, technical limitations, and product requirements
• Review and assess the technical feasibility of project requirements and propose innovative solutions
• Be the technical expert and provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices, coding standards, and complex technical issues
• Provide prompt product support when deep technical expertise is required from the Product Support organization
• Participate in the production on-call rotation with the team members

Box is looking for skilled individuals to join our engineering teams in Warsaw. Your expertise is crucial in addressing challenges related to cloud-based content management, directly impacting the productivity of users at major enterprises.

We are currently seeking individuals for the following teams:

• Identity and Security Foundations Team is focused on building frictionless security platform for other applications and features of Box solution. This platform is providing user authentication and authorization and ensuring secure internal and external communication. We’re looking for engineers who are excited about ensuring security for our Customers and expanding our security platform capabilities and are ready to jump on to any part of the development stack.
• Threat Protection team is dedicated to empowering Box administrators with the tools they need to ensure the security of our platform. We offer a comprehensive collection of features that provide timely security alerts and effective response actions in the face of potential threats. Our feature-set can be divided into two main areas: Anomaly Detection and Malware Detection.
