Role Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Engineer who has the ability to act collaboratively as a part of the globally distributed support team.
You will be based in our Brno office where we offer a hybrid working model joining a friendly team of IT support specialists resolving issues throughout the CZ and EMEA.
This role is an integral part of our small but incredibly valuable team, providing a broad spectrum of tasks that will support the achievement of departmental goals during an exciting phase of company development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with user queries
- Providing user support and resolution to assigned incidents
- IT Infrastructure administration and troubleshooting
- Physical checks, i.e. cables and connectivity
- Laptops and desktops management:
- Software installation and configuration
- Re-boot/hard resets
- Restoring manufacturer’s defaults
- Supplying and installation of new laptops (manual reimage, Autopilot)
- Rebuilding laptops
- SW licenses: Installing and managing
- Networking:
- Simple LAN cable fixes, patching
- Cisco Meraki administration
- Configuring interface for AP’s
- Switch basic troubleshooting
- Disposal of outdated equipment in compliance with all statutory disposal requirements.
- Inventory tracking and documentation updates
- Re-asset tag and report to Service Desk
- Maintaining and sharing all relevant technical and design documents, incluing inventory records and keep them up to date
- Active Directory management (object creation, basic administration)
- Azure AD management
- INTUNE and Autopilot
- OS Windows - advance administration, troubleshooting
- MAC OS - basic administration and setting
- VPN setting and troubleshooting
- Office365 administration
- On-going self-analysis of the efficiency of internal processes and suggesting improvements
- Collaborating with 3rd parties and/or other team members to ensure Mavenir strategy is being implemented
Job Requirements
- Intermediate IT knowledge and experience in a commercial environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Desire to learn and discover IT fields
- A Team player who is self-reliant and an IT enthusiast
- Network skills: intermediate
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
