About the job:
In this role you will impact the way how Red Hat ships its products and how the software delivery pipeline is built and structured. You’ll be a technical authority for a team whose main responsibility is the build process of software artifacts and your work will directly contribute to the pipelines robustness, efficiency, and scalability.
Your decisions will impact a lot of people and therefore we are looking for a natural leader. Your success will be ultimately determined by your ability to influence and inspire people with technical acumen.

What you will do:
- Cross-functional work and delivery
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders and project team members to ensure proper visibility into development efforts
- Execute full software development life cycle
- Scope incoming requests and design solutions
- Design user scenarios, test cases, and write automated tests
- Establish and maintain the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) testing environments
- Technical leadership
- Innovate/Create PoCs to solve meaningful business challenges
- Define, review & execute technical best practices
- Recommend new technologies and approaches that can benefit the designed solutions
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in delivering software written in golang and/or python
- Experience building and maintaining software in cloud environments (with technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift and Tekton )
- Experience with the software release process and architecture of delivery pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to communicate effectively in a global team
- Ability to influence/impact beyond immediate team
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment, willing to learn on your own
