Senior Software Asset Specialist

Job Purpose:
We are looking for someone who can help us **manage RWS Groups software assets, cloud-based services, software provider programs, and their related licenses with the goal of ensuring software license compliance and cost efficiencies**. You will maintain software license records in a global Software Asset database and manage software asset management tools. You will prepare guidelines and processes and educate and influence the Service Desk and users about software licensing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensures software license compliance and efficiencies and software inventory feeds are complete and accurate
- Ensures adherence to software asset management policies and procedures throughout the enterprise by conducting regular audits
- Reconciles reports and interact with management of business units as required to collect requirements for software assets and agree on a software standard
- Reports Compliance levels and concerns
- Assists business unit partners and IT team members with new and changing software needs and solutions
- Manages correct SW installation, prepares instalation packages, resolves installation issues and manages administrator setting of purchased SW (user rights and management, license assign
- Acts as SW Asset Manager back-up when needed
**Skills & Experience**
- 2-3 years of SW Asset management Experience
- Basic administrator skills of Microsoft products (admin setting of cloud services, installation packages,)
- Good communication skills - negotiation and communication with SW vendors
- English on a communicative level - B2
- Knowledge of legal code and standards related to the software licensing. Knowledge of modern principles and practices of software license "inventory" control.
