We are currently looking for a Senior Network Specialist - IP Automation, to join us at Arelion Poland or Czech hubs.
As an IP Automation specialist, you will be a key player in Arelions transition to automate workflows covering provisioning to operational tasks, while we together keep the continuous development of our IP platform, all this in close collaboration with Arelions IP & OSS architecture team members.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Design and Implement Automation in IP networks**
Design, implement, and manage Automation in IP networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This requires a strong understanding of network architecture and the ability to work with a variety of hardware and software.
- **Improve network automation tools**
Using data to get inspired to find development and improvement opportunities of automation in regards to support and implementation tools.
- **Lifecycle of IP platforms**
As Senior Network Specialists in Network Engineering you are part of ensuring our platforms are kept fully validated from a HW or SW release point of view from the first LAB tests until final production approval test completed. This also includes ensuring the existing portfolio of automation processes are updated, which could impact monitoring and alarm handling systems.
- **Education and support of internal teams**
Important part of being the in the Network Engineering team, is that you as an expert will take part arranging operational and implementation trainings sessions for Arelions support and delivery organization teams, this could be either for new solutions or new employees.
- **Advanced case handling, incl. Problem Cases raised from our incident mgmt. process**

Your Experience
- 10+ years’ experience of working with network engineering or operations and ideally working closely with the main IP equipment platforms on the market today
- Detailed knowledge of python, SQL and other relevant coding langurs used in automation deployments
- Experience in analyzing and optimizing needs for various support tools for better or quicker operational handling
- Proven ability to accurately document and maintain learned knowledge
- Proven experience at interfacing with vendors in influencing their product improvements for both hardware and software
- Understanding of optical networks and how IP are reliant on optical technology for long haul links
