Senior Network Engineer

About the role:
- Windows and Linux Server management
- SAN and storage array management
- Very large VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Backup, Replication, HA and Recovery technologies
- Sound understanding of Networking principals.
- Security Technologies, content filtering, privileged access
- HPE Server hardware installation and support & maintenance.
- Azure services
- File and data transfer, batch scripting, PowerShell & Terraform capabilities.
Main Requirements:
- CCNA/CCNP Network Certification or Relevant Experience
- Proven track record of delivering projects and complex change
- Checkpoint or F5 Certifications would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Extensive and proven experience in one or some of the below technologies
- Cisco Routing and Switching - Essential
- Checkpoint Firewalls versions R80/R81 - Essential
- Experience with Cisco Nexus product lines
- Desirable
- Fortinet Fotigate Next Generation Firewalls - Desirable
- Forcepoint/Stonegate Next Generation Firewall - Desirable
- F5 LTM and GTM Experience - Desirable
- VMWare NSX-T - Highly Desirable
- Rancid or relevant Configuration Backup Tools
- Monitoring and management tools with a working knowledge of Linux and windows.
