Senior IT Operations Specialist

We are **Sewio** and we develop our own product because we enjoy helping customers **track objects** they need. You name it, we can track it: cars, forklifts, sports players, pallets with beers or cows and much more. Amongst our best-known customers are Budvar, VW, Skoda Auto or Cisco. The product itself is a combination of **hardware** and **software** and is now being used in 37 countries all around the world. Last year we earned 1,5 mil. USD for our products.
At the moment it’s 25 of us in Brno and we are an enthusiastic and friendly bunch.
**Whom are we looking for?**:
We are looking for an IT person through and through, a person with enthusiasm and a reliable colleague in one person.
This position requires an **experienced technician** with a creative spirit and broad scope who will appreciate the opportunity to** improve** and **automate** our **infrastructure** and take care of a wide area of responsibilities such as** security, servers, data backup,** and more
At the same time, we expect you to take care of our existing IT systems **Azure, Office 365, Confluence, Odoo,** or **PowerBI**. You will oversee our **Linux** infrastructure and resolve **incidents** and **requests** from our team, such as (“This doesn’t work ”, “I don’t have access to ”, “I can’t generate an invoice ”).
Last but not least, you will be the **administrator of all technology** and you will be in charge of ensuring its preparation and creating approaches for new colleagues.
If you also have some knowledge or experience within **DevOps**, or if it is a skill you would like to learn, you will find this option with us.
**What skills will you need?**:
- Understand business processes
- Design, build and maintain infrastructure
- Azure, Confluence, Office 365, PowerBI provisioning
- SQL Databases
- Linux server provisioning
- Python and PowerBI scripting
- Communicate in English
