Yourresponsibilities
As aSenior Finance Specialist, you will be cooperating with Region EU FinanceDirector, Accountants / Controllers in the finance team based in Prague andBasel, along with other internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibility willbe to help us ensuring the high-quality execution and delivery of accounting tasksrelating to our European affiliates.

Yourkey responsibilities will be:

• Participatein regular (monthly, quarterly and yearly) closure activities, supporting theaccounting team in meeting the expected deadlines
• Reviewand follow up of monthly account reconciliations performed by Accountants
• Reviewof closure-related deliverables performed by Accountants before its submissionto the Group
• Collaboratewith Accountants and the Finance Director to provide explanations for postedtransactions, resolve differences arising from intercompany reconciliations andaddress related issues as needed
• Offer Accountantsconsultations and assessments on accounting treatments to ensure compliancewith local GAAP and Group reporting manual
• Coachand share knowledge with Accountants regarding accounting treatments, Groupaccounting methodology and processes
• Participate on the approval processes related to AP, payments and other financial operations
• Prepare more complex postings and provide supporting calculations
• Cooperate with external accountants on the preparation of monthly closures, annual financial statements, annual reports and tax returns
• Collaborate with auditors
• Streamline and enhance the efficiency of internal accounting processes
• Report status of above mentioned tasks and related issues to Finance Director and cooperate on mitigation activities
• Perform other adhoc tasks based on the instructions from Finance Director

Yourqualifications and experience  
We arelooking for a friendly colleague who loves teamwork, accounting and wants todeliver top-notch service to our stakeholders.

• Youhave past audit experience from one of the Big4 company (at least 3-4 years)
• You havesolid knowledge of accounting principles, with at least basic knowledge of IFRSstandards
• Youhave an experience with internal ERPs (preferably MS Dynamics 365, FinanceOperations)
• Youare an experienced user of Excel (vlookup, pivot tables…) 
• You arefluent in English
• Youare able to understand the processes, draft the suggestions and communicatethem clearly
• Youhave an experience with knowledge sharing and coaching of other team members
• Youare a self-driven organized personality with high sense of responsibility
• Youare a pro-active detail oriented person with an analytical mindset
• Youwork with a “hands on mentality”
• You enjoy working in a multinationalenvironment
