Senior Data Engineer @ smartpatient
Must-haves:
- Expert knowledge of SQL & Python.
- Expert knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the corresponding services for data pipelining, warehousing (Redshift/Snowflake) and governance.
- Expert knowledge in software & cloud engineering principles such as CI/CD, Git, version control and data modeling techniques.
- Experience in the integration and quality assurance of data from different sources (ex. mobile app - Firebase events and server component - MySQL database).
- At least 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (or related position) supporting mobile applications or B2C web applications.
- Fluency in English with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to fully own and manage internal IT projects, such as data collection process change or migration to a new tool.
Nice-to-haves
- Mathematical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and organized team player.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining a data mesh architecture for data analytics.
- Expert knowledge of technical foundation for building dashboards and reports in BI tools.
- Experience with dbt, Amazon Managed Workflows, Great Expectations and lake formation.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will create data pipelines and automation for the data generated by millions of people who use MyTherapy to take their medications safely. Join us in transforming our data lake into a self-service data platform for our Data Scientist and Analysts, including BI tools and a modern data warehouse.
Work model: Remote (in-office presence required for company/team-wide events, e.g. once per quarter).
Offered remuneration: 1200 - 1400 PLN/daily on B2B
