• Professional experience: Over 3 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer, with a strong foundation in QA methodologies, particularly in B2B SaaS environments.
• Technical expertise: Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Cypress or Playwright, extensive experience in test framework optimization, functional and regression test automation, and CI/CD integration.
• Scenario writing skills: Skilled in designing, writing, and executing comprehensive test scenarios for large, complex systems.

Skills and competencies:

• Leadership & initiative: Proven ability to establish standards, enforce processes, and lead QA practices confidently in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Analytical skills: Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to identify potential issues and craft precise test cases.
• Ability to manage multiple projects: Oversee the testing process for multiple projects and ensure all integrations are secure and fault-tolerant.
• Proactivity: Self-motivated, with a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work independently, who can take ownership of quality assurance and champion best practices.
• Adaptability: Thrive in small teams where flexibility and quick decision-making are essential.

Product and communication focus:

• Product focus: Rapid comprehension of products to create targeted and effective testing scenarios.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in Polish and English (B2/C1+ level) to document processes and test cases and collaborate within an international team.

We’re seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to take full ownership of our testing processes. You’ll lead our QA efforts, define testing standards, and ensure the reliability and quality of our solutions. We are a 15-person tech startup based in Krakow ??, focused on developing B2B SaaS solutions for digital credential management. We are led by experienced founders and backed by leading EU venture funds. What will you do? ?

As our Automation QA Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind our QA strategy by leading the testing process to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. You’ll design and execute comprehensive test plans and identify and report bugs to improve our products’ quality while playing a critical role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our SaaS solutions.

1. CV Review.
2. HR Screening: Focused on your experience, motivation, and general skills (45-60 minutes).
3. Technical Task: You will be asked to write a couple of test scenarios so we can see your skills first-hand. No coding is required; only text-based test scenarios are needed. The whole task shouldn’t take you more than 2-3 hours.
4. Technical Interview: a technical call with our Co-Founder and Lead Software Engineer (1-2 hours).
