**DESCRIPTION**:
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to join our Finance team based in Zdiby/Prague, Czechia.
Position is fix-term (maternity cover 3 years).
**LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE!**:
In This role you will be supporting the Accounting Manager. Coordination of the work of accounting team and all accounting processes in a timely manner.
We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the Senior Accountant role:
Supporting Accounting Manager in all finance projects and implementation new finance solutions
Financial statement preparation (Local Gaap)
Preparation of Financial and tax audit,
Month end and year end closing
Account’s reconciliation AP/AR/GL (US and Local Gaap)
Internal and external reporting
Organizing and coordinating all accounting issues
Supervising AP postings
Bank statement posting
Preparing bank transfers
Prepaids and accruals posting
Communication and cooperation with all departments in the company and with central team
**SKILLS FOR SUCCESS**:
To succeed as Senior Accountant, you must understand the needs of our business objectives and be able to implement all local and global financial processes. We are looking for someone who:
can work independently and implementation new finance solutions.
is capable to prepare financial statements (Local Gaap)
is understanding of with US Gaap accounting rules and experience in share service company will be an asset.
have an expertise in supervision AP and bank statement postings
A keen interest in collaboration with external partners such as auditors, lawyers, banks, and tax authorities
Strong knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
