**The team you’ll be part of**
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
You will be part of our Fixed Networks Customer Engineering team as a SDN (Software Defined "Access" Network) Engineer executing New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for multiple large telecom operators in CEE & TCA (Central East Europe and Turkey Central Asia) perimeter and provide technical remote/onsite support under Europe Network Infrastructure Delivery organization.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
Are you passionate about working on cutting edge technology and solve complex problems?
As part of our team, you will:
- Lead testing execution and provide support to solve complex problems during the project validation.
- Drive customer demo, POC, Lab & Field Trials remote and on-site.
- Build design (HLD / LLD) documents.
- Support upgrade / migration activities during maintenance windows.
- Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Need to have good understanding of fixed access domain.
**Your skills and experience**
**You have**:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or similar with min. 5 years of experience in the telecom sector.
- Nokia Fixed Networks product family starting with SDAN components (Altiplano, Lightspan), Fiber (xPON) & Copper (xDSL) portfolio elements, FWA (5G CPE) and Nokia Wifi (Beacons) products.
- Scripting and automation Python, Ansible, JSON-RPC, Netconf/Yang, SNMP, Bash, and /or XML
- Container virtualization and networking: Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.
- Advance in English.
**Nice to have**:
- Solid understanding of systematic troubleshooting, as well as having the capabilities to identify software and hardware issues in a timely manner with mínimal supervision
- Cloud computing concepts such as storage, security, and load balancing infrastructure on public & private environment.
- Analytical mindset and creativity orientation towards problem solving.
- Capability to work under pressure and short time reaction constraints.
- .Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
