Scientist
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Scientist to join our team in the Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) Discovery department. The successful candidate will become an integral member of a dynamic and highly collaborative matrix environment focusing on preclinical ADC development. The Scientist will design and execute innovative in vitro experiments to address critical questions surrounding ADC targets and compound efficacy. This position provides a unique opportunity to play a fundamental role in the development of preclinical ADC programs and the advancement of next-generation cancer therapeutics.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Design, execute, and troubleshoot cell-based in vitro assays; maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments.
Build and optimize protocols for compound screening and target validation experiments.
Analyze data and prepare reports and presentations in English for internal and external meetings in a timely manner.
Review relevant scientific literature and leverage other available resources to support ADC target selection and advance preclinical development.
Communicate with CROs to design and conduct in vitro studies, interpret data, and present findings.
Serve as a project representative, providing expert input and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data into the broader drug discovery pipeline.
Work both independently and collaboratively within drug discovery to achieve shared goals.
Competence, Skills and Qualification
Ph.D. degree in cancer/cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of in vitro research experience (postdoctoral or equivalent experience preferred).
Hands-on expertise in cell culture, cell-based assays, and molecular biology techniques, including but not limited to cell proliferation and viability assessment, flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blotting, and RT-qPCR.
Experience in processing single-cell suspensions from mammalian tissues and tumors.
Ability to conduct data analysis using Microsoft Excel, GraphPad PRISM, or equivalent software.
Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and integrate scientific data, with experience in conducting literature reviews.
Highly independent, proactive, and organized, with strong attention to detail in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining flexibility to acquire additional competencies and skillsets as needed.
Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal communication skills).
Working knowledge of live cell imaging techniques (such as IncuCyte) and image analysis is an advantage.
Direct experience with oncology-focused projects or ADC development is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with advanced genomic or proteomic screening tools is a plus.
Working with hazardous biological and chemical substances under appropriate safety measures is required.
Hepatitis B vaccination will be required.
