About the job

In the role of a Sales Manager, you will have two reporting lines: directly to a Team Leader in Czech Republic, and indirectly to the Head of Sales Industrial Applications Europe, CIS & Türkiye. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining a lucrative relationship with our customer in the Central Europe. While tending to our customer’s needs as a primary point of contact, you will obtain orders from existing, as well as potential markets. Therefore, it is important that you have a customer-centric attitude supported by a strong technical and commercial background. You should understand the unique demands of our clients and present them with tailor-made solutions. In this position, you will also see through the entire sales process from offer to cash with the support of a qualified team. During work, you will be traveling (inter)nationally approx. 20-30% of the time.

In addition, your tasks will include

  • Sales forecasting, demand planning & receivables management
  • Providing profound technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products
  • Financial planning related to rolling forecasts, market pricing conditions, annual business plans, inventory management
  • Conducting price and contract negotiations
  • Preparing quotes based on pricing strategies in alignment with RHI Magnesita commercial management standards
  • Creating development plans of the customer to grow and strengthen the relation

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

  • High school or university degree, ideally with a technical focus


Languages

  • English – Proficient/Fluent
  • Czech – Proficient/Fluent
  • Any other language skills will be considered an asset


Work Experience

  • Several years of relevant working experience in sales
  • The knowledge of the refractory industry is an advantage
