Ampersand Biomedicines’ Pilsen Team (AbCheck s.r.o), a Flagship Pioneering Company, discovers and optimizes human therapeutic antibodies with one of the industry’s most versatile technology platforms. Tailored to specific needs and desired Target Product Profiles, the experienced team leverages both cutting-edge (e.g., microfluidics, rabbit mass humanization) and state-of-the-art (e.g., phage display libraries) technologies to provide high quality leads against a range of diverse targets.

Position Summary:

AbCheck s.r.o. (Ampersand Biomedicines, Inc.) is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Research Associate to join our team. This is a full-time on-site, laboratory-based position in Plzeň, Czech Republic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of growth media, agar plates and buffer solutions
• Cleaning and sterilization of lab materials, maintenance of lab equipment
• Implementation and documentation of dedicated work according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures
• Support of teams with standard tasks such as maintenance of mammalian cell culture, DNA preparation, microfluidic chip production
• Contribute to building a positive, team-oriented culture.

Key Qualifications:

• Qualification as biological/medical assistant in biology or related field
• Hands-on experience with preparation of chemical solutions
• Sense of responsibility regarding experimental work, the team and the mission of Ampersand
• Adaptivity to language requirements. Our team is international, written documents like experimental protocols and records are in English language

Compensation and grade will be adjusted to the experience level of the applicant.
