QA Engineer for AI Chatbot Testing - US Greenfield Project - Freelance/Full remote

For our EdTech client - US University we are looking for a skilled QA Analyst/Engineer to support testing for AI-powered virtual assistant designed to help students with enrollment and academic inquiries. This is a greenfield project for a leading US university, offering a fully remote opportunity from the EU.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on AI and natural language processing technologies.

POPIS POZICE:
  • Define functional and non-functional test strategies for the conversational AI platform.
  • Collaborate with AI developers and product owners to design comprehensive test cases.
  • Conduct functional, performance, usability, security (in coordination with IT Security), and integration testing.
  • Generate detailed test reports, bug reports, and user experience insights.
  • Analyze test results to identify improvements and prioritize issues with the product owner.
  • Track and manage bug resolution and feature enhancements.
  • Provide feedback to developers to improve model performance and user satisfaction.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with demos and test data.
  • Stay updated on trends in conversational AI, NLP, and machine learning.
  • Research and implement new testing methodologies and tools.

PROFIL KANDIDÁTA:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and natural language processing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience testing conversational AI or chatbot systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

NABÍZÍME:

Expected assignment start date: February 2025

Expected assignment length: 31st December 2025 with possibility to extend to 2026 year

Work location: Remote, work from home in EU

Work hours: 8hrs per day, Mo – Fri, must be available between 9am and 1pm EST (New York time), remaing 4hrs are flexible

Contract type: freelance contract with ManpowerGroup CZ

Languages required: fluency in English - B2-C1 - must have.

Documents required: EU, US citizenship
