**Job Overview**:
The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions, as well as reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Coordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
**Skills**:
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- ** Hands-on experience with automated testing tools**:
- Knowledge and experience with SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Proven work experience in software development
- Technology stack is variable, more important is to be willing and open to learn new technologies. (AZURE, JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell, GIT, Some Relational and non REL DBs)
- Experience with Testing Framework PlayWright + JavaScript is an advantage
- Can be valuable to have some experience with Python (not mandatory)

**Location**:
This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is for you to be present with your team in the office at least 1-3 times per week.
**Working hours**:
US working hours (approx. from 2.00pm to 10.30pm)
**Compensation**:
**Salary for Slovakia **starting from 2 900EUR gross monthly.
**Salary for Czech Republic **starting from 86 800CZK gross monthly.
**Salary for Poland starting** from 13 800PLN gross monthly.
The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.
