**Our group**:
At Bulk Elemental Analysis (BEA), we develop and maintain software for Optical-Emission and X-Ray spectrometers. Our solutions are needed for our customers from metallurgy, cement, and mining industries to advance their technologies and products while becoming more energy-efficient, and environment-friendly.
As a member of an international team of scientists, software developers, and engineers, youll take part in developing software platform helping BEA teams to configure, build, and evolve all our instruments.
**Daily Challenges**:
Youll support all stages of the product lifecycle, from research and feasibility to its development and maintenance.
- Learn how we build our spectroscopy instruments to fit specific needs of our customers in their daily business
- Define software requirements for our spectroscopy knowledge management, instrument manufacturing, and configuration platform
- Build an efficient bridge for communication between R&D teams and business operations
- Feel our growth culture to challenge your domain knowledge, software engineering, cooperation, and communication abilities
**Our Spectroscopy Platform**:
We build versatile scientific instruments to characterize wide range of materials. To handle the configuration complexity, we deploy technology to support our business operations across our organization.
- Define particular HW specification for our colleagues running supply chain and preparing parts for instrument assembly
- Deploy and calibrate scientific methods for our analytical software
- Create new material characterization methods and instrument configurations to support the latest innovations and industry trends
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Excellent communication skills and a sense to reach consensus
- Ability to work across all business functions and various seniority levels
- Experience with translating business demands into technical specifications
- Familiarity with modern software development processes and technologies
- Willingness to learn spectroscopy-related theories to better understand our daily operations
- Verbal and written communication skills in English language
- University diploma or equivalent required
