As a **Product Manager** at Merkle DACH, you will spearhead strategic planning, utilizing Agile methodologies to guide the development of innovative features. Youll identify opportunities for improvement, drawing from your experience in online business and digital marketing. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring a user-centric approach, and integrating CRM marketing principles. This exciting position allows you to shape the future of marketing personalization, contributing to an environment that values innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional growth. You are great at strategy, and have experience shaping and delivering innovative products in the marketing personalization domain. You will report to the Project Lead.
**Main responsibilities**
- Strategic Planning: Work with cross-functional teams - including design and engineering
- to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and delivery.
- Develop and execute the product strategy according to our goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and user needs.
- Follow the product development lifecycle for products like Customer Data Platforms from brainstorming to launch.
- Utilize meticulously Agile methodologies to manage product development, including the creation of epics, user stories, and sprint planning.
- Define and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure adherence of product development to the product strategy.
- Work with interested parties to gather input and feedback.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business priorities and timelines.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic objectives and user impact.
- Create and manage processes to ensure a user-centric approach to product development.
- Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Coordinate and document product releases, including feature launches and updates.
- Manage processes to foster collaboration between development, testing, and deployment teams.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the marketing personalization domain.
- Influence product development by integrating impactful marketing capabilities and incorporating best practices in customer relationship management.
**Qualifications**
- Masters or bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Professional level of English
- 3+ years of experience in product management (in online businesses or marketing technology)
- Full understanding of Agile methodologies and experience managing epics, user stories, and sprint planning with Atlassian Jira.
- Experience driving product innovation and improvement.
- Exposure to digital marketing and/or CRM marketing concepts.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with multiple project partners.

- Focused on delivering high-quality products to meet customer expectations.
- Desirable experience includes familiarity with AWS and cloud computing, experience with data platforms, business intelligence (BI) tools and customer data platforms.
