We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our Enterprise Information Technology team to help us identify and deliver business solutions, in partnership with Global Workplace & Enterprise Services and Information Technology colleagues. These critical functions operate at a global scale, supporting our business in over 130 countries.
The Product/Business Analyst is a key role within the GSM/WS Value team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing business needs and working closely with stakeholders to develop digital and technology solutions that drive business outcomes for Integrated Facilities Management, Building & Package Management, Real Estate Management, and Smart Building products within the Facilities Management product line.
**Key Responsibilities** **may include but are not limited to**:
- Applies a structured approach to discover, document, and manage business process, user and stakeholder needs, including opportunity statements, use cases, insights, and requirements.
- Gathers insight into user journey, behavior, motivation, and pain points. Exposes unarticulated problems and unmet needs.
- Documents business process, business and user needs in the form of problem statements to make up the backlog. Facilitates the “how” with the Engineering team.
- Gains expertise in the business area
- Leverages business and user insight to help inform solutioning ideas and prioritization decisions to deliver valuable products
- Has knowledge of and leverages existing solutions to benefit their stakeholders through using IT communities
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or a related field.
- Good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience collaborating with vendors/external partners
- Experience with developing various types of requirements and user stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Understanding of business process modeling notation.
- Experience with basic user-focused design techniques
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is preferred.
- Experience working within a product organization.
