**PLM Teamcenter Business Application Owner**:

PLM Teamcenter BAO is the global role within Thermofisher scientific organization with approximately 2000 Teamcenter users across R&D and Operations. As a BAO you will be responsible for the tool, maintenance, business requirements and partnering with IT responsible for PLM tools and 3D CAD. Within the role you will support Establishing a full Digital Thread and Digital Twin for our products what is foundational for this digital transformation within Operation Strategy Deployment organization and as a part of The Engineering Data Management team who dedicated to enable these new digital technologies towards the MSD engineering functions.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Build our PLM Teamcenter environment towards digital future with innovations.
- Owning key processes and related documentation.
- PDM board chairperson and help keep PLM Teamcenter up to date.
- Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
- Participate in business requirements gathering and technical specifications creation.
- It is responsible for related business requirements and documentation.
- Engage regularly with the Teamcenter collaborators, IT teams developing relationships, sharing standard processes, identifying, and leading dependencies, finding opportunities for improvement, fostering collaboration, and gaining alignments where applicable.
- Bringing your solution to life by collaboration within global teams.
- Continuous improvement of processes and their optimization.
- May lead programs/projects and handle resources assigned to these.
**Requirements**:
- University degree in mechanical engineering or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
- Typically requires 8 years or more of technical experience in industry environment.
- Experience with Product Life Cycle management tools, design and configuration management tools.
- Ability to lead cross-site and multi-functional programs and projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, new product development and change management processes.
- Experience with (product) data management and additional experience with Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
- Prove ability to craft sophisticated infrastructure solutions for global operation.
- Knowledge of Database technologies and concepts, especially passionate about digital thread, digital twin concepts and tools.
- Solid focus on quality, robustness and maintainability of tooling and processes.
- Experience in the technical leadership of large software implementation projects.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
