What will you be doing:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including but not limited to calculating wages, processing payroll adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of paychecks.
- Ensure compliance with all local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Stay informed about payroll laws and regulations changes and implement necessary updates to payroll processes and procedures.
- Process and reconcile payroll data, including employee attendance, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, discrepancies, and tax-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and seamless integration with other HR and finance systems.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the payroll function.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll processing and compliance activities.
- Train and mentor stakeholders on payroll questions where needed
What youll bring:
- 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in Czech and English, other European languages would be an asset
