Požadavky: Join a global leader in the sugar industry, where they process and trade a wide range of sugars from over 40 countries. Clients span from refineries to retailers, and we pride ourselves on our sustainability efforts. Our client is a part of a top-tier commodities trading group handling agricultural products like coffee, sugar, and molasses.

As an Operations Manger, you’ll play a pivotal role in the European Operations Team. You will independently manage the logistical flows of our European sugar business, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery of sugar across various modes of transport. This is your chance to shine in a fast-paced, global environment, coordinating with traders, producers, and clients to optimize the supply chain. The offices are currently based in Zvoleněves. In a few months, they will be finally relocated to Prague.

key responsibilities

* collaborate with clients to understand delivery plans and coordinate product stock with the EU logistics team for execution

* work with the Commercial and Shipping teams to communicate with global suppliers (Colombia, Brazil, Eswatini, India, Vietnam, etc.), ensuring alignment on production plans, shipment needs, and stock requirements

* manage relationships with multiple EU warehouses (Belgium, UK, Italy, etc.), including site visits to enhance supply chain efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce costs

* oversee the EU logistics team, organizing the transportation of goods from warehouses to clients based on orders

* coordinate with the container freight team to optimize freight costs and improve service contracts

* collaborate with the Commercial Team to enhance workflow, plan for future business needs, and drive overall business execution

who you are

* experienced logistics specialist or trained freight forwarder

* knowledge of laws, regulations, international logistics, incoterms, and trade documentation

* understanding of European customs regulations

* strong organizational skills to handle logistics for containers, vessels, trucks, and trains

* ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic environment, occasionally traveling

* proficiency in English & Czech; additional European languages are a plus

* excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Word

* analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player
