Network Activation Engineer
**Overview**:
The **Network Activation Engineer** (Further** **ACT only) provides professional technical support during activation & migration of customer’s network services at the airport hubs and branch offices and actively participates on continuous service improvement.
The **ACT** **is responsible for coordination of multiple stakeholders including customer during activation & migration calls as well as for securing configuration and documentation validity check.
**Responsibilities**:
- ACT is responsible to organize and lead service activation / migration calls with customer and other key stakeholders.
- Ensures that all required parties join service activation / migration call at the agreed time.
- Validates technical documentation and data in Service Request Form against real configuration prior to service activation/migration itself.
- Closely cooperates with Associate Solution Engineers and Delivery Managers.
- Ensures that proper testing of customer service has been done prior to service activation/migration.
- Leverages various internal tools for technical data validation.
- Ensures that activation / migration handbook is followed in case of specific more complex migration.
- ACT is responsible to capture and record lessons learned as part of continuous service improvement.
- Receives and close an activation / migration tasks through Activation Resource Management system for respective region which does match/overlap with ACT time zone.

- Experience from multicultural environment is plus.
- Proficiency in English is a must, other languages like Spanish, Portuguese, French are welcome.
**Associate Solution Engineer technical skills**:
- Excellent knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF is must.
- Strong knowledge of traditional L2 networks & Spanning Tree is must.
- Strong knowledge of QoS is must.
- Excellent knowledge redundancy protocols such as VRRP & HSRP is must.
- Very good knowledge of MPLS & IPsec VPNs is must.
- Very good knowledge of Network Tunneling and Overlay protocols such as IPSec, VXLAN, GRE, L2TP is good to have.
- Very good knowledge of general SDN concept is preferred.
- Good knowledge of SD WAN is plus.
- Good knowledge of Wireless LAN is a plus.
**Education and Experience**
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Network Operation (Engineering) / Telecom Industry.
- Work experience in Enterprise Network area / ISP environment is preferred.
- Degree in Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent proven working experience is must.
- Associate/Professional network certification is plus.
