Motion Graphics and Interface Designer
**About Project**:
Your main goal will be to develop and produce original graphics-based products for Multimedia productions as well as for broadcast services and their bureaus. Design and produce virtual studio backgrounds, 2D and 3D software, and motion graphics for news programs and packages including maps, lower thirds, and overlays to enhance video and web stories, using the latest graphic design software.
**What will you do**:
- Work on company’s branding and corporate identity.
- Creates animations/motion graphics for TV and online videos, including program opens, bumpers, closers, maps, lower thirds, maps, text overlays.
- Works with language services on “packaging” journalism content (choosing and editing images, videos, sounds) - overall project management.
- Designs and develops both original and modified virtual TV studios/backgrounds.
- Trains service and bureau staff on television studio production, video editing, graphic design, including animation.
- Maintains cutting-edge knowledge regarding graphics/software developments.
- Advises Multimedia staff and managing editor regarding new innovations in the field of graphic design and production.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**What we need**:
- **Expert experience**:Education**:
- University degree in multi-media design or related field or equivalent.
**Work Experience**:
- Extensive graphics design and production in a news media environment, minimum 3 years.
- Animation and motion graphics, including 2D and 3D graphics.
**Competencies**:
- Ability to conceive, design, and create graphics for news and documentary-based video programming.
- High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as 2D and 3D motion graphics/animation software.
- TV studio production, including control room management.
- Virtual studio design and creation.
- Project management.
- Television and graphics production training.
- On the cutting edge of graphics software knowledge.
**Languages**:
- English language
- Russian language advantage
