Mid/Senior Java Developer @ SoftBlue S.A.

• At least 5 years proven work experience as a Java Back-end Developer,
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment),
• Very good knowledge of Java 8/11,
• Spring Boot,
• REST API,
• JUnit / mocking libraries,
• Knowledge of design patterns,
• Knowledge of JVM (in particular the ability to optimize application operation, additionally memory management and solving performance problems)
• Independent, proactive Team player with willingness to work in an international environment,
• Eager to share knowledge, open-minded person,
  
• English written and spoken, to communicate inside team without problems.

Nice to have: 

• Java 21,
• Git (Azure Repos experience preferred),
• ORM / Hibernate / Spring Data JPA,
• SQL (PostgreSQL),
• Docker,
• Knowledge of Windows as a deployment environment,
• Experience working with a modular monolith,
• Familiar with Scrum framework.

The project uses digital PCR technology in order to examine DNA samples. The solution is aimed for laboratories and hospitals. Platform consists of an analytical instrument and a dedicated web application which lets user configure experiments and analyze results. The user is able to visualize the experiment template as well as the results.
