Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a new
**Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer **to join the Garrett R&D center in Brno - Slatina. To help us with creation of 3D models and 2D drawings of turbocharger components, assemblies and subassemblies for our major customers.
**Area of responsibility**:
- creation of concept and design of turbocharger
- creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for turbocharger components, assemblies and sub-assemblies
- creating documentation with regard to safety, manufacturability, assimilability and cost
- development of customer requirements with regard to functionality and technology
- collaborating with colleagues within international project teams
**Key skills and knowledge**:
- University degree in mechanical engineering or simmilar
- working experience with mechanical component design, 2D drawings, 3D models, quotations and geometric tolerances
- experience with 3D CAD tools, knowledge of CATIA is an advantage
- experience with dimensional analysis, assembly design and basic simulation
- fluent knowledge of English language
