- Description & Requirements- Manage and maintain company facilities, buildings and equipment in assigned area.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Maintain building systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, etc.) in good working order, arrange preventative maintenance and oversee repairs as needed.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with building landlord, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled and leased premises are in proper order.
- Oversee tenant arrangements and ensure subtenants comply with all terms, conditions, etc.
- Monitor premise service ticket system related to employee-reported issues and requests. Assign tickets to responsible parties and ensure all tickets are resolved quickly and properly.
- Maintain equipment and furniture inventory.
- Manage contractors and vendors including negotiating business terms, overseeing service levels and scheduling work.
- Manage activities related to reconstruction of office space and relocations, coordinating and communicating with all stakeholders during all phases of the project.
- Manage and maintain up-to-date seating charts per company guidelines; assign seats to new employees.
- Maintain safe and productive working environment, coordinating requirements with corporate safety and security department. Lead other projects and initiatives as may be assigned.
- Required skills:
- College/trade school degree or equivalent
- 5 years experience office management or general building maintenance.
- Technical and comprehensive knowledge of operating procedures for general office equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, building systems, building codes and other regulations.
- Excellent planning, management and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Cooperative attitude, experience working as part of a team
- Self motivating, professional, tactful, strong problem solving and accuracy skills needed.
- English language proficiency Ability to remain professional in stressful situations
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for a multi-national corporation
- Ability to repair common office equipment
- Foreign language proficiency
- Engineering certificate or equivalent experience
- AutoCAD experience
- First Aid/CPR certification
- General office environment
- Requires travel
- Requires considerable walking and standing
- Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to assist in emergency situations
