**Role Description**
Twisto is seeking a full-time Legal & Compliance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and laws, legal document preparation, and managing compliance processes, guidelines, and frameworks on an ongoing basis. The Legal & Compliance Manager will also provide legal advice and support to other business functions and ensure that all internal policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Drafting, maintaining, reviewing and implementation of internal policies
- Communication with the Czech National Bank and other regulatory and governmental bodies,
- AML/CTF Contact person, whistleblowing designated person supervision over AML/CTF processes,
- Supervision over the e NIS 2 Directive and the DORA Regulation,
- Cooperating & supervising company lawyer in managing relationships and services from external legal contractors
- Supervising company Lawyer in drafting and negotiating contracts with various counterparties
- Implementing legislative changes & providing training to Twisto colleagues
- Sharing regular incident reports to the corporate bodies
- Act as a Group DPO
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Expertise in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Compliance
- Experience in Consumer protection law and Consumer loan law
- Knowledge of the Payment Services, Consumer Credit, Personal Data Protection, NIS 2 Directive and the DORA Regulation and AML law
- Understanding of Risk Management principles
- Familiarity with payment institution regulation (for example PSD 2, EBA guidelines, Act on payment services (Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Experience in the FinTech or payments industry is a plus
- Czech or Slovak language is a must, English C1
