Lab Operations Associate – Research & Early Development team
SOTIO Biotech a.s. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Research & Early Development team as a Lab Operations Associate. If you are proactive, reliable, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to meet you! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of laboratories, performing basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, supplying laboratories with material, supporting laboratory logistics and operations, and handling administrative tasks related to laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of laboratories and laboratory equipment
Keeping track of inventory levels and supplying laboratories with necessary materials to ensure smooth operations
Providing administrative and technical support to laboratory management (e.g. working with instrument databases, autoclaving, pipette revision)
Preparing laboratory solutions
Maintaining accurate documentation related to laboratory operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma with a completed graduation exam
Basic proficiency in English
Proficiency in using PC (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, responsibility, proactivity, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
Completed Hepatitis B vaccination will be required
Working with hazardous biological and chemical substances under the appropriate safety measures is part of the job description
Clean criminal record
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is an advantage
