Key Account Manager Modern Trade (Diy/retail)

Location**:Hybrid, Prague**. 3 days/week in Prague office; 2 days / week - home office / visiting clients. Office presence during onboarding.
**Purpose**
We are expanding our sales team and are looking for enthusiastic and experienced salespeople. If you have experience selling to chain stores, retailers or online business partners and you are interested in Stanley Black & Decker portfolio send us your resume in English.
Your task will be to provide complete care for our key customers, maintain and expand our relationships with our business partners predominantly in DIY chain store market.
Our ideal colleague should take business opportunities as a challenge, competition as a motivation for continuous improvement, and her/his strategy should be a long-term relationship with our business partners.
**The Job (responsibilities)**:
- Sales Plan - Black+Decker, Stanley, Stanley FatMax, DeWALT product portfolio - fulfillment of KPIs (sales & margin etc.)
- Marketing activities - work together with marketing department to prepare marketing activities, promo materials to support sales of our customers, participate in product pricing, monitor trends with your customers and the overall market
- Product portfolios - implement new products, monitor product presentation in stores, evaluate business statistics, design solutions to expand product range
- Relationships with business partners - develop solutions that best match the needs of business partners, follow up the on assigned tasks, working with colleagues from other departments (marketing, customer service, demand planning, finance, accounts receivables, etc.), manage business conditions and solve operational improvements.
- Reporting & team work - team work on various business tasks and projects in the region, follow up the progress on your assigned objectives, reporting on the progress in regular conference calls, develop a strong tailor-made action plan for each key account, develop a long and mid-term growth plan.
**The Person (requirements)**:
- Min. High School education
- Proven working experience in Key Account position - area of DIY, FMCG, Retail, E-Commerce is an advantage
- Understanding of sales strategy in retail business, budgeting, planning, and priorities setting
- Leadership experience, team leading or related experience is an advantage
- Czech language: native, English language: professional communication level
- Good presentation skills, MS Office for analytic tasks needed, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent communication and social skills and pro-active personality
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as self-supporting attitude
- Fast learning and keen on self-development
