What you need to have to succeed in this role:

• Prior programming experience.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• SQL experience
• English at least B2 level.

Nice to have: 

• Experience with kdb+q and tick architecture.
• Experience with qspec testing framework.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrable knowledge of market data, trade data.
• Experience with Refinitive/Bloomberg data.
• Experience with designing and developing complex micro services based on business requirements with little to no external guidance.

Your career opportunity

You will join our Algo Analytics and Execution Data POD in Equities Electronic Trading. We are a software engineering team using kdb+/q time series technology to handle large volumes of financial markets data each day.

Collecting, storing, analysing and distributing data across multiple systems with varied requirements creates many interesting challenges and gives plenty opportunities for improvements and innovation - including usage of Cloud storage and compute engines. We work very closely with our business colleagues so you will have the opportunity to work directly with our business traders and quantitative analysts.

Markets & Securities Services IT (MSS IT)

MSS Technology Poland team support investment banking division. We build high-throughput systems, from low latency trading applications to large Microservices platforms; as well as perform architecture and cloud migrations.

End users: Institutional Clients, Traders, Sales Teams, Relationship Managers, Middle Office
