About the role
- Junior Finance Business Partner is a key role in Haleon Hungary finance function. The role provides support to business stakeholders and entity Finance lead, supports decision making, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes. Additionally, the role assists in financial analysis, financial modelling and month end close activities_
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and month end close by gathering relevant data, collaborating with other functions, and performing management accounting entries.
- Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate regular financial reports with key findings and actionable insights to support decision making.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models and tools to assess business scenarios, evaluate business results and forecast future performance.
- Build and maintain effective relationship with internal stakeholders, provide financial insights and support.
Accountability
- Support planning, forecasting and month end closing processes with data analytics, data reporting, management accounting and business partnering. Perform G2N accounting and controlling activities in close collaboration with sales team.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc management reports and financial analysis to support decision making, including but not limited to resource allocation, sales and marketing investment controlling.
- Drive and improve financial data analytics, create financial models for decision support, maintain a strong financial analysis foundation, analyse results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Effectively communicate financial information and recommendation to internal stakeholders to facilitate informed decision making and collaboration.
- Support general finance processes, including but not limited to fixed assets accounting, finance master data management, internal control framework management, management monitoring activities.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience in financial analytics and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to forecast, plan, prioritize, rank and recognize financial problems
- General accounting skills as knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and techniques
- Ability to act as a business partner, affinity to support the business in decision making
- Strong experience working cross-functionally, demonstrating a good ability to influence at all levels and the ability to build strong relationships and alignment in a matrix environment
- Good communication skills
