JAVA DEVELOPER - Food Industry - Greenfield - Hybrid

We are looking for a Medior or Senior Backend Java Software Engineer to join the Menu Management Team developing innovative solutions on Greenfield projects for the restaurant industry using a modern tech-stack.

You will work in an agile environment (14-day sprints) in a senior team focused on backend services running on GCP and Microservice Architecture. We are currently focusing on SW for restaurants and its whole ecosystem. Our clients are smaller and big businesses such as KFC, Pizza Hut, FIve Guys, etc.

These are not maintenance projects but mostly Greenfield projects,mostly new things.

This includes apps that enable restaurant staff to efficiently service customers at their tables with seamless cloud connectivity, enhancing ordering precision and speed of service. These applications are also used by food delivery services suchasUber Eats and similar platforms. We are also working on theCatalogue appwhich helps Chefs and Managers to create desired menus and other things.

• In your role, you will design, modify, implement, and document enhancements to software applications
• You will work in an Agile environment in a senior team
• You will work in a Cloud Environment (GCP) and Microservices Architecture
• You will plan and implement testing strategies for different areas of our products internally and externally
• The position involves daily interaction with the team in Prague but also in the US and Asia

Our Stack:Java (17+), SpringBoot, Typescript, Angular, GCP, Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Helm, Flux, REST API

• 3+ years of experience in Development
• Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented design principles
• Strong written and spoken English

Advantage will be:

• Any experience with any Cloud (GCP preferred)
• Experience with Typescript
• Familiarity with Docker
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Terraform, Helm, Flux

• You will work on Greenfield projects with cutting-edge technology in the cloud ecosystem
