IT Specialist - Security, IT Infrastructure
**Your tasks**:
- You will be responsible for the definition and advances in the development of innogy group security monitoring (XDR).
**Active Directory**: Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) principles including the basics of user and group management, and understanding of security permissions.
**Networking**: Understanding of basic networking principles and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. An introductory knowledge of firewalls, switch and router configurations, and network architectures would be helpful.
**Virtualisation**: Some exposure to VMware virtualization technologies. Familiarity with the concepts of creating and managing virtual machines, understanding virtual networks would be an advantage.
**Cloud**: Basic knowledge of AWS cloud platforms. Familiarity with the concept of managing cloud resources, and understanding security principles in the cloud would be beneficial.
- Your responsibility will be a technical lead role in projects related to Detect and Response domain:
**Threat Detection**: You will oversee the development and tuning of security information and event management systems and other detection tools, ensuring they are effectively identifying potential threats.
**Incident Response**: When threats are detected, you will play a key role in coordinating the response, which may involve mitigating the threat, investigating its source, and working with other team members to prevent a recurrence.
**Process Improvement**: You will also be expected to use lessons learned from these incidents to improve our detection and response processes, and to share your insights with the rest of the team.
- You will lead day to day remediation of findings in cooperation with various internal and external teams.
- Close cooperation and integration with the rest of IT services/departments. You will work on complex projects where it is necessary to have deep knowledge, people and presentation skills, and communication skills to Business Stakeholders.
**Your profile**:
- University degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences is preferred, although essential is your ability to demonstrate expertise gained in projects and during on-the-job training, including certifications.
- Familiar with IT infrastructure related best practice, trends, methods, and tools.
- Professional experience with Endpoint Protection or XDR tools is a benefit.
- Experience with reporting and managing projects of simple to medium level of complexity.
- Czech native tongue, proficient in spoken and written English.
