We are looking for a motivated IT Risk Specialist to join the newly established IT Risk Management Global Competence Centre (GCC) in the Czech Republic. The GCC provides services to internal customers across the Vienna Insurance Group, operating primarily in Central and Eastern Europe. 🌍
As an IT Risk Specialist, you will work within a team of up to 6 colleagues 👥 and will be responsible for implementing and operating tools, methodologies, and processes for IT Risk and ICT Third-Party Risk Management across the entire group. 🔧📊
What are we looking for?
- Proficient English that you are comfortable using in both written and spoken communication 🗣
- Basic knowledge of IT Risk Management processes and Third-Party Risk Management
- Experience with designing and implementing GRC, BPM, or ITSM tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand, structure, and explain complex topics 🔍
- A proactive approach with the ability to deliver tasks accurately and on time ⏰
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure (hardware, virtualization, operating systems, application software, public cloud) ☁
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment 🤝
- Willingness to travel, as this position includes frequent travel across Central and Eastern Europe ✈
Additional advantages:
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript 💻
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to IT Risk in the financial sector
What will you be doing?
- Designing, maintaining, and executing IT Risk Management and Third-Party Risk Management processes 🔧
- Providing operational support for the ITRM toolset
- Collaborating with service owners, team members, and various teams across the VIG group 🤝
- Actively participating in implementation projects as a valuable team member 👥
