International Trade Operations Lead

**Location**:Prague #LI-Hybrid
The role of
**International Trade Operations Lead** will ensure Team’s compliance with Customs and Trade laws and regulations, Novartis Standards and Policies covering commercial and non-commercial materials. Work closely with Country Managers and the site CTC community to deploy, a compliant, effective, efficient standard of service. Support Global CTC function on a variety of projects and in identifying and implementing of cost savings opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, deploy, and govern the team’s end-to-end trade compliance processes, in alignment with business priorities and in compliance with regional, and local laws and regulations as well as NTO global customs and trade business guideline.
- Drive standardization and harmonization in processes, metrics, tools, and practice, balancing efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance to minimize risk to the organization.
- Drive a dynamic, high-performance team that ensures CTC compliance, high standard of service, high customer satisfaction and fulfillment of service level agreements.
- Effectively communicate with a variety of teams and colleagues at different level of seniority
- Proactively creating value in process improvements and optimizing cost of trade.

**Minimum requirements**
**Essential Requirements**:
- University degree in science (Chemistry, Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering) or Business Administration; MBA is preferred.
- Relevant working experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of the EU customs regulations/guidance.
- Project Management skills required to manage and/or support implementation on Foreign Trade projects.
- Technical and operational skills in customs and trade compliance.
- Leadership skills for a globally based team.
- Must be collaborative, team player and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, being stress resilient and lead a remotely based colleagues at a global level.
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
