**About the job**:
- Regularly inform Senior Management in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Group Anti-Financial Crime team about the risk of International Sanctions, including recommendations
- Continuously analyse the applicable sanctions requirements and coordinate the CEE Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime teams with the preparation of gap and impact analysis on local processes
- Facilitate the cascading and monitor the implementation of the Group International Sanctions policy and guideline in CEE countries
- Recommend second level controls and mitigation actions to CEE countries
- Coordinate the investigation of International Sanctions within CEE countries
- Provide advice and training on International Sanctions to the CEE Senior Management and CEE Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime teams
**Requirements for the position**:
- Master’s degree in economics, business administration or law
- Excellent communication skills in English
- At least 7 years of anti-financial crime and/or international sanctions experience gathered preferably (not only) in an international financial institution
- Knowledge of US and EU sanctions framework and remediation programs
- Experience with international sanctions advisory matters (definition and updating of policies and procedures, knowledge of sanctions clause and other international clauses, dealing with authorities)
- Exposure to senior management and Committees, including preparation of documents, reports and recommendations
- Experience in a complex and challenging environment (i.e., large organizations)
