Head of Product Sales Ii
Your role
As a Transaction Services (TS) Sales Head you will be responsible for growing the Daily Banking business and increasing profitability through the origination of new TS mandates within your Wholesale Banking (WB) client portfolio in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You will be selling all products in the TS domain, i.e. Payments & Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Bank Guarantees, L/Cs, etc. In your role you will be managing team of sales managers and you will closely co-operate with other department heads, primarily Coverage, Lending and Financial markets.
Your key responsibilities
- You will be responsible for generating new TS share of wallet deals with existing clients as well as with new clients.
- You will deliver on challenging but specific revenue targets and client profitability within the ING risk framework and appetite.
- You will set and drive the TS commercial strategy for Czech Republic and Slovakia that is aligned with the local and global strategy.
- You will be the trusted advisor to your (prospect) clients and work closely with key internal colleagues/stakeholders like PAM/LAM, TS Sales colleagues in the network, the Cash and Trade Advisory & Structuring teams as well as Trade Operations, Client Services, Implementation Management and the TS Product and Delivery teams.
- You will be expected to travel to Slovakia for team and client meetings on as needed basis, however at least once a month.
- You will be responsible for creating commercial synergies between Czech and Slovak ING branches - RFP input co-ordination, pipeline sharing, reporting, co-operation with other countries and departments. Sharing of knowhow and best practices between both branches.
Who we are looking for?
- 3-6 years of work experience in the financial sector, think tank or public administration (Ministry of Finance, Central bank or other)
- University degree (Mgr.) - economics, econometrics or similar
- Team player with ability to work autonomously
- Role model with high ethical standards and excellent interpersonal skills
- Clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and maintain strategic dialogues with key stakeholders
- Excellent oral/written skills in English and Czech
