Head of Product Development

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Preparation and implementation of yearly product plan
- Leading the product managers team
- Preparing new product designs incl. pricing, T&C’s, IPID, POG documentation, policy forms and policy documents
- Monitoring market trends and competitors
- Demonstrating problem solving attitude and solution driven approach in cooperation with Sales Department, Finance and Operations
- Following AXA Group internal control standards and procedures by meeting deadlines for internal underwriting controls requirements
- Following and respecting AXA Group and AXA Partners underwriting guidelines including underwriting authority limits granted
- Proper evidence and record keeping according AXA Group standards for all underwriting performed, T&C’s, IPIDs, POGs and validations using dedicated share drives
- Supporting Sales and E-commerce Department in negotiations during renewals and tenders
- Identify and analyse possible risks and develop/implement necessary mitigation options
- Actively cooperating on sales strategies and initiatives, proposing new directions in line with AP/CEE strategies and business plans
- Active participation on implementing new businesses and ensuring main processes (legal, policy admin, OPS) are A-Z covered
- Act in accordance with AXA values and commitments
- Perform other tasks as required by direct manager

**Your Profile**
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
**Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Key managerial qualities needed for team leadership
- Profound knowledge of full scope of travel insurance and partial knowledge of the other P&C risks, background ideally in insurance / assistance company with the proven track
- Strong technical knowledge of product and risk management
- Excellent problem solving skills, strong result orientation and self-motivation
- Ability to deliver work with minimum supervision and effectively operate in a dynamic global organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities under limited supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, internally and externally with all levels across the company including executive management.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Very good command in English, Polish and/or German welcomed
**Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematical sciences, or related field is preferred, relevant professional certifications welcomed
- Significant experience in similar position and similar dynamic and international environment for 3-5 years
